A creative studio of pixelpushers who want nothing more than to tell your story.
Liz is the lucky one who gets her photo featured first. Who hasn't always wanted a last name that starts with the letter A? Our A+ designer Liz is calm, cool, collected and is our resident meme queen. When she’s not designing out of the park graphics, you can find Liz hunkered down with a video game or crime show alongside her canine son, Bones. When we asked her what she likes about Pixel Park she never responded, so we think it’s safe to assume she hates it here.
*Edit : Liz responded. She actually loves it here because she digs working in a studio where having fun is pretty much mandatory. Whew, that was a close call! We’re a fan of yours too, Liz!
If there’s a pun to be made, she’ll make it. If there’s a grammatical error to correct, she’ll fix it. When she’s not slingin’ graphics or art directing for Pixel Park, you can find her cuddling her best puggle Buddy or having a blast at a Creative Babes event, a community she helped build. She’s what we call a brand chameleon, shifting gears from project to project with ease. What Hil loves most about Pixel Park is creative collaboration and the morning coffee conversation.
A creative Jedi with a flair for all things quirky, Ryan brings a fresh perspective to each and every spot. Before making his way to Pixel Park, Ryan studied motion graphics at BGSU and worked at NFL films. Ryan’s favorite thing about being a creative is bringing ideas to life and finding new ways to make people laugh. Let it be known that if there’s a way to incorporate pizza, he’ll find it. When not knocking rad videos out of the Park, Ryan can be found biking, being a cool Dad, or slamming street dunks all day long.
With a background in business and marketing Karla helps keep our books in order and our business booming. And perhaps, our tummies full. When not hustling to keep the Park in tiptop shape she can be found whipping up the best no-bake cookie this side of the Olentangy. Karla’s superpower is Mario Kart. She’s a beast.
Lucia is our resident “takes care of the all the odds and ends”-er. She comes to us with a video production background so just really “gets” us. She brings a ton of great energy to our studio on the daily, even on the grayest of Ohio Days. What else? Lucia digs dance, Harry Potter (*high fives Melanie*) and knows how to throw a kickass Pixel Park party.
Matt’s a no limits kind of guy. So it should come as no surprise that after soaking up the LA sun and working on promos for clients like Apple, Nike, and Disney, Matt journeyed back home to Ohio to start his own animation gig. As Owner and Creative Director of Pixel Park he makes it a point to foster both a positive and creative culture. When not animating or managing the studio and those within it, Matt can be found exploring the local craft beer scene or chasing around his energetic kids.
Melanie is a lean, mean animating machine. She hails from the esteemed Columbus College of Art and Design bringing both a practical and truly magical point of view to the table. She’s the coolest cat lady you’ll ever meet whose infectious energy will make you want to hang around. When not working you can find Melanie gushing over the latest Disney flick or crafting up something killer. She cites, “an environment that allows me to be myself,” as her favorite part of being in the Pixel Park family. If you’re smart, you’ll swing by the Park on a day she’s made cupcakes.
If Pixel Park were a boat, Jessica’s who keeps us afloat. As our inhouse producer she’s got a serious knack for organization and communication. She’s the gal who keeps everything moving full steam ahead and protects your project every step of the way. Afterhours you can find Jess hanging out with her pup, most likely watching scary movies. She’s a producer by day but definitely some sort of Marvel superhero by night. We just haven’t figured out which one yet…
Kelly’s a community wrangler. She’s known for her ability to bring people together; to form productive partnerships that lead to strong storytelling moments. She comes to the Park with a cornucopia of experience and knowledge in both the production and creative industries. As a business development leader for most her career, Kelly has secured creative bonds with retail clients (along with their agency/production partners) to launch, brand and rebrand companies like Bath & Body Works, Vitamix, TweenBrands/Justice, American Signature, Inc., Nationwide and more. Her passion for the creative process and the spirit of true collaboration means she is always envisioning how the projects, along with the relationships, can continue to develop. She’s a people person through and through. Well, and a dog person! She contributes 2 incredible pups to the growing Pixel Pack. Kelly’s favorite things about Pixel Park are the space, the folks, and she loves how the work life balance comes from the top -- people first.
